Friends and family
Sometimes you talk to the people who know you. They know the history, and sometimes that's exactly what you want.
Professional support
Sometimes professional support is the right thing, through the NHS, a GP or a qualified practitioner. Ventieee is not a replacement for it.
Ventieee
And sometimes you simply want someone neutral to listen, with no history, no stake in it and nothing to manage afterwards. Ventieee exists for that third situation.
Context
Office for National Statistics, Opinions and Lifestyle Survey, Great Britain, data collected 7 January to 1 February 2026. The same release found younger adults more likely to report it than older adults: 27% of those aged 16 to 29 and 28% of those aged 30 to 49, against 19% of those aged 50 to 69.

Wanting to talk is ordinary. This figure describes the wider picture in Great Britain. It is not evidence about Ventieee, and no research has been carried out into this service.
You don't have to be falling apart to want someone to talk to. No need to tidy it up first.
Straight about the boundaries.

Privacy, honestly put
We keep what we collect to the minimum needed to arrange and run your conversation, and calls are not recorded. What is Ventieee?
A UK listening service for adults. You book a 30-minute conversation, we call you, and someone listens. No diagnosis, no advice, no agenda.
Is Ventieee therapy?
No. Ventieee is a listening service, not therapy, counselling or professional mental-health care, and it does not provide diagnosis, treatment or medical advice. Our listeners are not therapists, counsellors or clinicians — their role is to listen.
What can I talk about?
Whatever is on your mind. A bad day at work, a row, feeling lonely, something you can't stop thinking about, or nothing in particular. You choose what you say and what you keep to yourself.
And you don't need a reason you could justify to anyone. Sometimes a bad day is reason enough. We don't ask why you booked.
How does it work?
You choose an available 30-minute slot and enter your first name, surname, email address and telephone number. You're welcome to use your preferred first and last name. You'll get a confirmation by email with a calendar invitation, and we call you at your booked time.
Appointments are currently offered between 4:00 PM and 10:30 PM UK time, subject to availability, up to 14 days ahead and with at least four hours' notice.
Who calls whom?
Ventieee calls you. We use the telephone number you provide when booking to call you at your scheduled time. There's no number to ring us on and nothing to dial.
Do you record calls?
No. Ventieee does not record or transcribe listening calls, and we don't keep routine notes about what you say. Booking, email, calendar and telephone systems do necessarily process some information about your appointment. The Privacy Policy sets out what and why.
Is my conversation confidential?
We treat your conversation with care, we don't record or transcribe calls and we don't keep routine notes. We won't tell you it's absolute, because it isn't: information may be disclosed where required or permitted by law, or where Ventieee reasonably believes disclosure is necessary in connection with a serious and immediate risk of harm or a safeguarding concern.
What if I need urgent help?
Ventieee isn't an emergency or crisis service, and appointments are booked in advance. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999.
How do I cancel or change my booking?
Use the cancel or reschedule links in your booking confirmation email. Rescheduling is subject to the same availability rules, including at least four hours' notice. If the links don't work, email hello@ventieee.com.
How is my information used?
Only to arrange and run your conversation and administer the service. We don't ask why you're calling, and we keep what we collect to a minimum. The sets out the detail, and you can complain to us at any time at hello@ventieee.com.
